There Is no reason that my rge bills should be ranging from 300 to 500 a month this is ridiculous! There is no way and no excuse for this ! Since these "smart" readers were installed its been nothing but inflation and irritation. Rge will be getting a phone call and this will be taken care of this week !

Upgraded meter

Ive received 2 letters insinuating I have opted out of the upgraded meter. I will be charged a monthly fee for opting out. The problem is, the meter was upgraded a couple of weeks ago.

After they said service would be as of today service still off and now they say I need to have my home a electrical inspector come and then show them the certificate of pass inspection then they will make appointment to re connect my service in very disappointed in there quality of service

Fraud package

My name is James Stewart a bill with you guys was created using my name and social security number. I spoke with your customer service reps twice and they took down info on where to send the Fraud Package which is here in Wilmington NC 811Martin Street where I am in the day program for finding housing.

The fraud package is supposed to be sent to Kenneth Tiger Aldrich, my case manager at Good Shepherd Center 811 Martin Street Wilmington NC 28401. His number is 910 763 **** x 117. I need this resolved as I am applying for housing.

Fraudulent billing

RG&E engages in extortion...Here's how they do it. They bill you based on an estimate, which is often grossly higher than your use (never lower).

You then get a termination notice. When you call to solve the problem, you get the "we are experiencing a high volume of calls. You might want to call later or tomorrow." You can do this day after day and never get a live person. When I finally did get someone, I was put on hold with no warning, and was left on hold for 45 minutes.

The total time of the call was 1 hour, 5 minutes...and still no problem solved. The billing company will try to pass your problem to customer service, who will then pass your problem to the "specialized" department.

No power at my house

Hi, Been waiting for over 4 weeks for RGE team to hook up my home to power at the poke. Both times I awas able to connect by phone they stated the scheduler has it. I tried over 6 times to call and was on hold each time for over 30 minutes(my drive to work). Please have someone out yo my home this week to hook house up with meter as I cannon keep running a generator as the cost of gas is out of control. Reckless Bill Overcharges

Lately RG&E keeps over estimating my bill by nothing under $100.00 over true amount. I asked to have someone always read the meters instead and got some pushback. I will have to press harder on the issue to get appropriate accurate billing. Meter readers will even lie and say no one was home at times.

Need service

There are trees growing into the power lines in my back yard and I am afraid something will happen during a storm. RG&E needs to come into the neighborhood and trim the trees that are touching the power lines before any damage is done.

Electric lines from house to pole issue

My backyard neighbor had trees cut down in his back yard and they took the lines down while cutting the trees. However, when they pulled the lines back up to the pole to replace them, the line from my house to the back RG& E lines are lower to the ground now. Can this be checked for proper height? My address is 60 Summer Sky Drive, Rochester, NY 14623.

How about a current updated ?

I have not received a update since 5:30 PM

It is now 2:00 AM.

It doesn't take over 8 hours for a simple update.

Your estimated time on the website states. Accessing for every town.

That would not be a estimated time. That would be that you have NO clue when it will be turned on.

I am home freezing in my home right now.

With no timetable of when my power will be restored.

As the smell of gas in my house due to this outage and is making me very sick,dizzy and sleepy.

I am sure your CEO's that live in Pittsford don't care.

As I see that you serviced them first.

Very disappointed in the way that you inform and service your customers.

The lack of being able to handle a windstorm is a joke to RGE.

I am sure the people in the state of Kentucky are happy for one thing.

That they do not have RGE to restore their power.

After getting hit with tornadoes.

They will probably have power on before we do.

I am sure if you can not even fix service after a wind storm.

If we ever get a tornado.

We will all be living like cavemen.

As I am sure that you could not handle a real weather related emergency.

Terrrible customer service
